Newborn Sleep 101
The Newborn Sleep 101 Workshop designed for expecting parents prepare them lovingly and holistically for the new change in sleep that their family will experience. There is currently a huge gap in traditional antenatal education as families need to be prepared and empowered to adapt better after birth.
It is important to have realistic expectations and to understand the needs of a newborn baby and that each member of the family are indeed entitled to rest to replenish but at the same time that there are many healthy sleep habits, that can be implemented right from the start.
It's also important to understand, that sleep doesn't have to come at a price - normally, the lack of emotional closeness, bonding and attachment, indeed - you can have both!

This workshop will include the following topics:

After this workshop, participants will be able to:
Communicate and bond better with their newborns to support emotional well-being
Be confident in their skills to allow baby and themselves to sleep
Foster healthy sleep foundations from the get-go
Understand the function of crying in a newborn
Understand the importance of and how to foster baby's emotional well-being
Understand how to create a safe and nurturing sleep environment
Understand how unique each family's dynamic weaves into sleep
Understand how each member of the family contribute to the family's central nervous system
Understand that sleep is impacted by anything and everything
Understand how sentient their newborn baby is
