Prenatal Activities
Research shows that incorporating evidence based childbirth education from an independent provider (not connected to your birth facility) provides consumers with a more unbiased angle, incorporating more latest evidence-based universal best practices and information on your rights in childbirth, allowing couples to make more informed decisions and translating to more empowered birth experiences. Highly recommended therefore.
Furthermore, traditional antenatal (prenatal) education commonly overlook important key topics that enable expecting parents to be realistically and better prepared for the LIFE CHANGE (not just birth!) that lies ahead in today's day and age. We have lost the "village" concept in our modern society and new parents today put unnecessary pressure on themselves during this special time.
Let's change that!
Below we have chronologically listed all educational Prenatal ParentPrep activities (workshops, groups) as well as social opportunities suitable for expectant parents so you can build your birth-village and easily see all upcoming dates at one glance.
For workshops, make sure to book well in advance to avoid disappointment as we have limited spots. For social events and groups, clicking "going" on the Facebook Event helps us to plan better, so we'll appreciate that, also if you share it with your mama-to-be friends :-)
If the dates don't suit you, book a private session directly with the teacher or get a group of expectant friends together.
